I'm dedicating this weeks blog to two great friends, who tragically died in a biking accident in Thailand whilst cycling around the globe. Pete Root and Mary Thompson were truly inspirational people and definitely played a part in persuading me to pick up a paintbrush again. They led by example to make the most out of life on planet earth.
Adventurers, artists, banjo enthusiasts, sculptors, documentary makers and all round lovely people. I take my hat off to you. Another time, another place, I hope my friends.
You can see some of their excellent artwork here, their documented cycling adventure around the globe here and a short film of their travels, cycling through Central Asia below
Many thanks to Thomas Ozanne for the photo
